Hello all. My traveller has a rather nasty bit of rust along the very back end. Can anyone offer any observations - how difficult it may be to mend, if it's a particularly crucial part of the structure, etc.?

Classic Traveller rear floor rot - water drips in through the side windows and rear doors, and then pools where your rust is. The central area is not so important, but at the edges it can lead to a failed MOT due to being within 300mm of the rear spring mounting point.

A patch repair is usually fairly easy, depending on how much rust is there once you start probing. To do it "properly", you may need to remove the "ladder rack" wood section (behind the bottom rear panel) and the petrol tank, and that becomes more complicated.
