Tipping seat brackets should there be

My tipping seats are just the 2 brackets one below and one over is there a moulded bit to take up any slack on frame of seat where it tips.

Not quite sure what you mean here, a photo would help.
Usually, they just have two U-shaped brackets per seat at the front, with a thin metal shim underneath (Part 13) where the seat bolts to the floor above the carpet, as per this link:

These do eventually wear through (often caused by rust), which may be causing the slack you mention...You can get new stainless steel ones.

And there are usually a couple of screws in the seat tube to stop it moving sideways, they are simple self-tappers and rub against the brackets (12 in the above diagram).
