Best to stick with original colours probably?
Engine, dynamo and starter motor were green including the (cast iron originally) water pump. Distributor and carburetter were masked up and left in bare alloy. Air cleaner was black. Heater pipe was black. Fan assembly was red on early cars then yellow on later ones so that it showed up better!

Thanks will probably do that and stick to original that’s how it was anyhow before lifting engine out to fit new clutch etc. also it’s not too bad as round engine bay is bright as it’s old English white.
