Hi,
So I have converted to a type 9 gearbox still running the standard Speedo, currently driving in 2nd gear around 20mph+ through each gear I'm reading 140mph on the Speedo or the needle is spinning around until it hits the pin that it rests on.

Is there a fix for this or an issue that has caused this to happen?

(This happened after sitting at 60-70mph on the motorway)

Probably a bit of muck between the driving magnet and the driven plate in the speedo... negating the magnetic drive to a fixed drive..
A good clean, if you're proficient, would help..
