Sounding out as I have not looked yet.But as reversing the clutch pedal went to the floor.Are there any videos or instructions I could follow if the cable needs renewing please.And if so is there a particular one available for my 1275 engine please.

To advise you we would need to know what kind of clutch you have. The 1275 is not a standard Minor engine so there are different clutches used which may be mechanically or hydraulically operated. You may also have a non-Minor gearbox......

The standard Minor clutch uses a mechanical clutch linkage. The clutch operating rod can be adjusted to give 1.5" free play at the pedal. As the clutch wears the free play decreases so if your pedal is on the floor this would suggest a worn out clutch in a standard Minor. There are some good videos on Youtube of how to adjust the standard clutch.

Ok we’ll have to hear if the pedal is still just going to the floor and not operating the clutch

Hi managed to have a look today and the problem seems to be that the rubber gater on the cylinder has blow open fir some reason.Dint know if you can see from the picture but will have to remove to assess.May be able to put it on again or change the whole thing.Dont know if it is to do with my adjustment as it is close to the cylinder.Who knows.

Looking at the photos above you do not appear to have a Minor or Midget gearbox fitted.
You have the wrong release arm fitted for a hydraulic clutch release operation.
The release arm for hydraulic operation is one as fitted to a 1275cc Midget/Sprite Part No: 22G168.
The operating rod between the slave cylinder and the release arm is way out of alignment. That misalignment has not helped.
You could put a spacing plate under the slave cylinder to bring the operating rod into line.
The slave cylinder in the link above will fit as will a classic Mini clutch slave cylinder.
I suspect that the person who fitted the conversion made the best of the parts they had as they have used a standard Minor clutch release arm. You can use the standard Minor release arm but it has to be engineered to fit. The arrangement in the above photos is a cobble together job.
Below is what a properly engineered slave cylinder, 1275cc Midget/Sprite release arm and linkage should look like when a hydraulic release system is used.

Yank you Phil.As I can't imagine I could change a release arm would there be a specific spacing plate or would I have to get one made please.

You could easily make a suitable spacing plate out of say 5mm alloy plate. 'e' bay is a good source of small pieces of alloy plate.
Use the new slave cylinder as a template for the hole positions and shape. The shape/size must support the whole cylinder.
You will need longer bolts to hold the cylinder. The originals are 3/8" UNC but what the treads in your bell housing may be different.
Do you have a Ford type 9 gearbox or a gearbox type other than a Minor/Midget/Sprite fitted?

That confirms my suspicions that the bell housing shown in the photos above was not Minor Midget or Sprite.
I have a Ford gearbox in my Minor and the bell housing is similar.
