Had such a great response to 1st post, thought I'd quiz you again..potentially&nbsp;more serious than my horn (ooer). <BR><BR>Top of my floatchamber has a habit of becoming pooled with fuel. Have changed the hose from pump&nbsp;but no avail.&nbsp;Float is not punctured. Have dismantled&nbsp;the top of float chamber and cleaned the needle and plastic 'shroud' which improved things temporarily, but seems to have started again. <BR><BR>Any ideas? Can&nbsp;I / do I need to buy replacement needle kit?&nbsp;Is this due to 'muck in the tank'? ..or perhaps just lack of use. Small fault but could be a big deal so close to&nbsp;hot manifold&nbsp;&nbsp;(eek!)<BR><BR>

I'm not an expert (yet) on float chambers, but I'd suggest you renew the float valve and seat.

If there are bits in the fuel, they should be trapped by the filters in the fuel pump (check them!). The puping action of the fual pump is done by the spring, so it 's unlikely to be too much pressure.

Maybe worth replacing the gasket between the float chamber and the top, though I wouldn't expect fuel to leak upwards...

You do have "jubilee" clips on the fuel line both ends? - and the fuel pipe is the one covered in metal braiding? (i.e. not a bit of plastic)
