Flooding Float Chamber

Had such a great response to 1st post, thought I'd quiz you again..potentially more serious than my horn (ooer).

Top of my floatchamber has a habit of becoming pooled with fuel. Have changed the hose from pump but no avail. Float is not punctured. Have dismantled the top of float chamber and cleaned the needle and plastic 'shroud' which improved things temporarily, but seems to have started again.

Any ideas? Can I / do I need to buy replacement needle kit? Is this due to 'muck in the tank'? ..or perhaps just lack of use. Small fault but could be a big deal so close to hot manifold (eek!)
