Hello Everyone,
I'm bothering your Forum because I'd like to have your help in discovering which is the exact model in attachment.

The pic was taken in 1955 during the honeymoon of my parents.

It was taken somewhere in Lybia where my parents met and then got married.

I don't have other pictures of the 'front' of the car unfortunately.

Can you please help me somehow?

Hello Fabrizio. Its hard to say whether it is a MM sidevalve model or an early Series II with the 803cc overhead valve engine. Were it possible to take a look under the bonnet to see the engine,or even take a look at the bonnet flash, it would be easy to identify as one or the other.

As myoldjalopy has explained there's not enough detail to date it too closely.
The rear lights tell us it's between June '49 > December '54, a later model MM or an early Series II; the car is a 'Highlight' from the shape of the front wings, so that makes it after September '50, but other photos would be needed to narrow it down any further.

I concur with myoldjalopy and geoberni but if pushed I would say it’s a series MM as it has the teeny weeny 1” ID tailpipe that my MM has and always looks too small for the car. Other opinions are available.

Good spot I don't think I've ever looked at a MM that closely at the rear. It does look a lot narrower.
So that puts it in the range Sep '50 to Feb '53.

But.... and I know they are easily removable .... the hubcaps appear to have the centra; 'M' stamped in which was a Series II feature.

Except that the MM model did use M-embossed chrome hub caps from the latter part of 1951 until the end of production......

Not quite correct.
According to the Ray Newell 'bible' .... Original Morris Minor....
Plain chrome-plated hub caps were fitted to all models up to early 1951.
During the the nickel shortage of Mar-Sep '51, painted hub caps, at first in plain black and then black with an embossed M were used.
After chrome plating was restored at the end of '51, the M embossed chrome plated hubcaps continued.
