Solving a rear light woe...

If you notice that one of your rear lights has gone out but that both brake lights work and the bulbs work when you switch them around, feel around inside the boot to check you haven't accidentally pulled one of the bullet connectors apart!

I noticed that Hebe had a broken nearside back light today when checking after I'd given her her first proper clean of the year. Had a fiddle around with the bulbs to no avail but then had a feel around in the boot well. One of the connectors had come apart (or perhaps the miscelaneous big and scary tools I keep in that bit pulled it out!)

Also,

Do note what the indicator warning light is doing! (Not lighting, slower flash rate etc).

The stalk light stopped working, so I investigated - flashing indicators OK - but brake lights not working......

Ok, I think it was coincidence - needed a new bulb for the stalk, but also a new brake light switch. I don't think the car's wiring is that odd, maybe just trying to tell me something!
