What's It Worth?

Wasn't sure if this belonged here, but also wasn't sure where else it could go.
I've got the opportunity to save a 4 door from a sausagey end, but the owner doesn't have an asking price.
The car's basically a rolling shell, but is mostly solid with no rot in the usual places, just smatterings of surface rust.
I'd really like to give it new life, but don't have a limitless budget so can't afford to pay a great deal for it given the hundreds it's going to take to turn it into a complete, roadworthy, car.
Does anyone have any idea what a sound but mostly stripped 60's 4 door shell's worth, so I can make a sensible offer?
