Hi can someone please advise how to remove these as they attach the electric fan to the radiator and go through the mesh fully

Have you tried to unscrew the fixing or maybe inserting a screwdriver into that slot to see if it releases the grip on the thread ?
I think you’ll have to carefully tinker with it, to find the answer. Or if the fan is dead you could saw through the bolts from the fan end perhaps.

Thanks yes I tried unscrewing without success so may need more force as you say maybe cutting etc.

They are cheap to replace so I would go ahead and cut them off, as you would a consumable like a cable tie.

looks like it's got a central pin that locks the barbs try pulling it out or pushing it in.

I'm with Monty, if you can't open up the plastic clip/ratchet, cut them off.
This might be a suitable replacement;-https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200834552821 ... %3A2047675

If you do want to save it/them I'd try a small pair of tweezers or fine-nosed pliers in the red line( s ) to open up the fixing and try to release it..
