Waterproof covers

Hi all. Any recommendations for a waterproof cover as I have to store my car outside for a few months. I don’t want to buy anything cheap. So something middle of the road between £60-100 would be reasonable?

Thanks

I got an "Eclipse" cover from here recently for a different car. Very good but a little more than expensive than your range. :-(

Here you go
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274897752438 ... R6jF-_uwYg
It looks to comply with all your requirements.
My last indoor cover (S/H but unused) I got off 'e' bay. Well worth a look.
The outdoor cover I have was purchased from the Range and it has given good service, is breathable, is soft non marking and cheap.

Many years ago my Morris had to live outside for a few months due to the garage being needed to stored furniture. We used a car cover but I think it did more harm than good. The car “sweated” underneath the cover (condensation was trapped) and the car deteriorated even over a few months. The hood went green and existing rusting accelerated. I wonder whether it would have been better not covered at all but perhaps modern breathable covers are better. If I ever had to do this again I think I would try to build some kind of car port, even if basic or a car tent. That would allow air flow

Yes! Expensive I know but I think that would be much better. Would make a decent paint booth too.
