Reconditioned rear dampers OR Telescopic damper conversion kit ?

Hello,
The rear dampers on my 1968 Traveller both have serious leaks (from area of damper arm to main body of dampers).
Telescopic damper (oil) conversion kit (ESM eBay site £80 ) OR a pair of reconditioned dampers ESM £202 (less £100 return surcharge if old units serviceable) plus return postage £ and probably a pair of drop link arms £.
I’d welcome any others experience of the Telescopic damper (oil) conversion kit on a Traveller…
Kind regards.

Hello
I have the telescopics on the rear of a saloon. Were a great improvement when fitted.
I have a kit from a long gone trader which used a lower mounting the same as the van/pickup which gives more ground clearance than the ESM version.
I recommend changing the fronts as well for the best ride.

Afficionados will say the original lever arm in good condition are just as good though!!
