New Loom time

I need to replace this old loom from my 2 door 68 Police car

You'll get no contrary opinion from me on that... it looks well overdue replacement.
The wiring was only ever intended to last the expected/designed life of the car, which would have been around 10-20 years maximum. :o

Simple enough job, so long as you get the right standard wiring loom. If you're keeping the original Alternator with the separate Control Unit, make sure you don't accidentally buy a loom intended for an 'Alternator Conversion' car.

Just finished building and power testing my own loom. Ready now for new sheath, trimming to length and fitting. Now I know how it all works. Image

Wow that looks good, i'm still not even started to wire mine up yet only laid it in the car following the old path.
