Thanks in hope.

The Club does publish one, not sure if it's in the shop on the website, but give the office in Derby a ring and they'll be delighted to sell you one. If you're new to Minors, then the best advice is probably to join your local branch and ask an experienced owner to come with you when looking at a car.

If you can find a copy of Paul Skilleter's 'Morris Minor - World's Supreme Small Car', there is an appendix in it called 'Living With the Morris Minor' which includes a section on how to inspect a potential purchase......

There’s Ray Newell’s book “The Essential Buyer’s Guide Morris Minor & 1000” available on Amazon and elsewhere

Thank you for the suggestions - the Ray Newell book is the one for sale in the Owners Club Shop - however does not get very good reviews on Goodreads. I'll read up a bit more on the web, starting with MM's link. Books next time I'm at an autojumble.

You should find lots of copies of various books and manuals at autonumbles and on eBay too. I'd recommend various books by Ray Newell, always insightful. Most classic magazines will have carried a minor buying guide at one time or other. Copies of a relatively recent guide from practical classics below. A useful introduction to the Minor but do more research before taking the plunge.
