Hi all, I have a friend who owns a GPO ladder which be is looking to sell but would like some guidance on price. The ladder belonged to his dad and his dad worked for GPO/
BT and he bought the ladder off GPO/BT when they de-commissioned the Morris Minor vans, this particular ladder was fitted to a Morris Minor van.
Can anybody offer any guidance on price or history on this particular ladder.
Feel free to message me if you need any further details.

Maybe a few more details: Length, width, number of steps, distance between steps and material would help.

There a lots of step ladders on sale - whether or not the age and ties to the GPO/PO and Morris cars have an influence or not - ??

Ditto, good practical ladders as I recall. The alloy ones like that one last well too.
If it were mine I'd still be using it, not just strapping it to the top of a van for shows.
Good luck with the sale, they'll be someone out there with an ex-GPO / BT van needing one.
Price-wise, somewhere around £50 I expect, as always it depends on what people are prepared to pay.
Best wishes,
Mike.
