Rear axle leaks

Got my son's minor back to change the gearbox today, also gave it a look over and noticed a couple of things, firstly the poor handbrake he reported is obvious, one of the abutments has come out of the floor an easy fix. Engine oil leaks seem to be because the rubber seals under the rocker cover bolts have disentigrated another easy fix. The most suprising issue is the axle is weeping at both wheel ends the worst side is the one I have already replaced the seal and bearing on once, the breather is clear and oil level correct, I am assuming about all that is left I can do is fit a speedi sleve on the axle where the seal runs, is there anything else I am missing?

Make sure that the drain holes at the rear and lower edge of the of the axle casing/brake back plate are clear.
Fit the later hubs with the rubber sealing ring between hub and drive shaft flanges if not already fitted.

Yes it has the o rings(1969 car), the drain holes are clear and doing their job, inside the drum is dry its running down back of the backplates.

Spent 45 minutes after work pulling the gearbox out, a couple of new issues (clutch contaminated by leaking gear oil which explains the slipping and rear prop u/j seized which might explain the vibration) neither the end of the world.

Oh and this might explain the excessive handbrake travel.
