Hi, not being particularly mechanically minded, my 1967 four door has failed the MOT due to a leaking rear n/s shock absorber.
After sourcing a re-conditioned unit from ESM, I am taking the car back next week to have the shocker fitted and, (hopefully) a new ticket.
How long will the job take for them to swap the units over? I would like to have some idea so I'm prepared for the bill! Thanks.

It’s not a complicated job. In fact, the rear Armstrong lever acting dampers are meant to be removed to be topped up with oil according to the workshop manual.

I would advise that you get the other damper checked for damping efficiency and fluid level when the reconditioned unit is fitted.
The other damper may not be leaking but it may not be damping the axle movement either therefore pushing more load onto the reconditioned damper.
Dampers are usually replaced as a axle pair.

Only 3 bolts each, I'd also have a close look at the link, if it has any play might be worth getting that changed at the samd time.
