hello

on the minor, there is a bar that goes from the interior door lock to the handle, and this scrapes on the window, there is a thin cord type material on it, which makes contact with the window, i guess acts as a scraper, i have one missing from one of the bars, what is it, and can i buy it ?,

Is this the thin length of steel with flat ends? I stuck a strip of foam draught excluder to the back of it.

Do you mean part 17?
That's an 'Anti Rattle Sleeve' and I have no idea what 'N.S.P.' indicates in the parts list, it's only used in that one description and does not feature in the glossary of the Parts Manual....
Not Separately Provisioned' perhaps
The list for the front door gives 2 previous part numbers (182472 & AAA 3523), but also became N.S.P..
So perhaps it's to stop rattling on the glass when the window is down?

Those sleeves are usually a piece of felt folded over and stitched.... not a difficult item to replicate after the moths have nibbled your old ones away :-?

yes thats the item, number 17, i have gone with the draught excluder option, i dont have any on one bar, and the other one i have abot 3 inches left on it, it feels like a hard cord material, glued into the channel, so i wasnt really suure what it was, and yes i guess its to stop the window rattling, as its pressed against the window, so it needs to slide back and forth when you open the door from the inside, i think the draught excluder will be perfect, i was going to glue some felt together and then glue inside the channel on the bar, but this seems a better solution

thanks for all the advice
