Whilst looking at the Facebook page of the MMOC I came across this new book. I cannot remember seeing any mention of it on the message board so have posted a link to it below.

That'll probably be the same Matt Tomkins who writes/works for Practical Classics magazine, and who owns at least a couple of Minors. Looks like an interesting read...

What with all these modifications people do you’d think the cars were crap when new

The Minor was good when it first came out but times have changed - if the Minor was produced today to original specification it could be considered unusable or scrap.
Basically - to use a Minor in todays motoring environment requires some sensible modifications to compete with todays traffic.
How many comment on here make reference to the fact that owners are sticking to minor roads to escape the volume and pressure from todays traffic.
Improvements to make a Minor safer and user friendly are all to the good.

Hi,
For those interested, I emailed Matt and he thinks it should be available around the end of March.
I too think it looks interesting enough to buy a copy.
Best wishes,
Mike.
