Rain in oil - safe to use?

Going by this:

Am I right that getting a small amount of rain in my new bottle of engine oil (thanks to leaving it open for maybe 10 minutes with a funnel in the top while I was busy under the car) won't cause me much trouble and it should be burnt off if I still use the oil?

Thanks :)

Hi,
A few drops of rain in the oil shouldn't matter.
Also it may sink, as oil floats, watch out as you get near the bottom of your container, you may be able to separate the water off or simply avoid it getting into the engine in the first place.
Best wishes,
Mike.
