Saw this at a show. 2 steering wheels and controls at both ends. I guess instead of going in reverse you just get out of one end and get into the other.

That's one way to solve the problem on earlier Minors with only one external door lock.

Has anyone built a Minor with both RHD and LHD? Splice racks together is doable. Some valving for the brakes might be enough. The clutch may be the most difficult. Gearboxes with the throw out bearing mounted to a transverse shaft would be very easy, but the Austin source design would be a challenge.

As regards the dual clutch - just use a hydraulic system with two master cylinders and an original hydraulic slave cylinder and hydraulic release arm. Just requires an extra couple of feet of brake pipe and some 'T' pieces.
The master cylinders can be mounted on the gearbox cross member. The brake master cylinders can be mounted in both chassis legs and the throttle pedal can be mounted on the floor both as per L/H drive.

In theory, some of this could be achieved relatively simply using he man dual controls or similar, as used in driving school cars. That would cover the clutch and brake but obviously not the accelerator.

Somewhere I have an article about post office vans that were used for driving instruction and they used dual control. A few minor modifications were required but seemed fairly straightforward.
