Hi all, I want to put electronic points on my 61 minor can anyone advise me which ones I need from the attached photos please?

If you really think you need to go that way, I would speak to "The Distributor Doctor" - just google him - and take advice from him. There is nothing wrong with the original system quite honestly and with proper maintenance it'll last forever but if you're determined to go electronic then make sure you buy a good quality proven make.

The great advantage of electronic points is that some play in the dizzy shaft bearings eliminates the points gap and timing going all over the place. It renewes a tired dizzy.

That’s like sticking a plaster on a broken arm.

It is "horses for courses" rather, but I agree - if my distributor was that worn, I personally would replace it rather than fit electronic ignition to mask the problem.
But I am happy to drive, service and maintain an old car in its (largely) original form as opposed to screwing modern bits and pieces onto it
Some owners will feel differently, and that is fair enough.

A better option in such a scenario is to fit a full new 45D electronic distributor from Powerspark. I fitted one in 2015 and it did make the car start and run better. Perhaps the electronic element contributed but I imagine the main reason for the improvement was the elimination of wear and fully functioning vacuum advance.
