Disc brake conversion

Hi all
Thanks for the great responses so far, have just had fitted a mr ugly marina based disc brake conversion, first time out they just locked up after about half an hour, did take the grommet out of the master cylinder, so don’t know why they did this, any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

Did you take the correct grommet out of the master cylinder?
The grommet is commonly known as the 'Top Hat Seal' (valve cup in the attached exploded drawing and is fitted to the master cylinder to keep some residual pressure in the wheel cylinders. The type of seal fitted to Minor wheel cylinders needs some residual pressure to keep the seals against the wheel cylinder wall.

Did you fit the servo? If so did you heed the fitting instructions re. angles of attachment?

..also , air valves are known to stick at times causing the brakes to lock on , a small helper spring would help... between parts 50 and 51 in the diagram..
