rim rings

hello everyone,
this is a first for me after 25yrs of being a Member,
as Simon will tell you I am no 'techy' :oops:
thanks to him I can now communicate with you all!
my first request ..............I have been trying forever!!
to locate some chrome rim rings as fitted to the MM1000,000
they are the one's
which fit snuggly into the back of the wheel rim
anyone who has a decent set
I will pay a reasonably good sum for them

There are some on eBay Brian, if I understand the type you mean but rather expensive I think

They were called "Rimbelishers" if I remember rightly? They were fitted to the Riley 1.5 and probably other models too. I'm not surprised they are expensive now. They were hard to obtain - and moderately costly - when I needed some 30 years ago. They were chrome plated steel, so tended to rust badly. Good luck in your search.

Those on the Traveller look like modern stainless steel trims. Not the type being asked for.
