Morris Minor Owners Club

Have recently replaced the two bonnet rubber buffers and whilst ordering these noticed they also offer buffers for the boot lid.
Looking at the workshop manual and trawling the web I cannot find where these would fit. I am sure they must have a purpose so has anyone fitted them and if so where?

Only fitted to very early cars, so you probably don't need them - and Moss don't have any anyway!
