Morris Minor Owners Club

Welcome to the new messageboard on a new host. Initial testing has been completed and the board is ready for you to use. You should find that all topics, posts, images etc from the old board are available now. Still being worked on are additional features such as Active Topics and Avatars. These worked in the test board, so it's just a question of updating some settings, but I wanted you to be able to use the main features as soon as possible.

I will post some guides on using the new features in due course. In the meantime, if you find anything that is not quite right, then please email me simon dot mitchell at mmoc.org.uk

Do you think it likely that the colour scheme will get updated, or is this it? (I'm sure there are far more important things, so tell me to jog on if you like ;) )

We did announce it last week on the old board and confirm that it was due today. We want to avoid any changes for at least a few days to make sure that everything is settled.

Yep absolutely, I'd just entirely forgotten ;)

I cannot be the only one that thinks that the font size is terrible and the colour differences between the letters and the background (black on blue) makes reading of the the text difficult.

Font sizewise, Ctrl+Shift and two prods on the + sign does it for me.

Theme changes are later, as above

Done the font size but the black on blue does not make for easy reading.

No promises, but if you had a free choice, what colours (text and background) would you like as default? I suspect that there will be many different answers to this question.

Black on white with a larger font size of at least 12.

It's black on very pale blue on my monitor which is fine for me.
I find black on white produces too much bright glare and after a while makes the eyes tired.

Have those that find the default bad tried adjusting the contrast on their monitor?
Or are you all using phones which IMO are unsuitable at the best of times!

PS - well done admins, a great improvement over the old version

Just tried this - I think you have to reload the front page for it to register and turn blue? Worked for me.

Question I have is can you rotate photos you post- just posted a portrait photo and it displays landscape?

Bizarre , worked OK with your reply but still not reverting to Blue on other posts when read !!

This is frustrating , reading posts but they still stay ‘ red ‘ . I must be doing something wrong — but what ?
