Out 1098 minor had a engine re-build recently, it includes a skimmed head and block and used the gasket esm supply in their kit , it's now done a couple of hundred miles with my son using it and apparently it is going very well, it's coming back for some general checks and a new alternator soon, is there a requirement to re-torque the head on these?

It is recommended that you re-torque the cylinder head after the first heat cycle?
If you did not it will do no harm to re-torque the cylinder head now.
It used to part of the Minor post delivery servicing for the cylinder to be re-torqued after 500miles.
