rear spring sag remedy

well, the nearside has been lopsided for ages now,so done some phoning around and got these pucker elongated shackle plates from JLH, 15 mins later all level

, the springs will have too be replaced sometime ,but these little loveys could put off that time/exspense and general face pulling for quite a while,fair play too that man,steve:

Hi mate, a new spring is only £21 + VAT from ESM. I would have thought that would be the way to go, but if the elongated shackles do the job then all is good!

ello cam ,know what your saying,but id replace em in a pair,plus the price of new U bolts,poly bushes,and postage, also would i get it done in 15 mins?seeya mate

If the longer shackles are very much longer than standard - you should drill them half-way along and fit a bolt with a spacer tube inside between the two plates - just to help keep the spring square.
