Do you know: decent Minor garage around Bristol??

Hello folks

Well for the past 24 years, I've tootled along in my Minor to Charles Ware for all its repairs/servicing/advice etc and now that they are no more, I have no idea who else to take my business to in the Bristol'ish area.

Soooo, "do you know" of alternative classic car specialists that know about Minors and you would recommend for decent quality work?

Any help appreciated as I had rather assumed I would be simply going along to Charlies for the rest of me and my car's days and now feel a bit lost as to where to go that appreciates our little motors.

Thanks in advance :D

Excellent, many thanks. :D I've just got in contact with BCCR to ascertain if they would be interested in helping out with my Minor. It will be excellent to know a decent company for future work. Here's hoping.

Yes they seem to know their stuff .We went to have a new windscreen and rubbers fitted to our consul capri.Thay had classics from various eras in for work from floor up to general works. The type of company that would be good for a TV Classic repair show.Just walking around to see the cars they were working on was a great memory. No cheap but they know what they are doing with out doubt .For small stuff always worth asking at garages with older staff as they are more likely to have worked on older cars when they were training.Keep your eyes and ears open and ask around.Best wishes

Brilliant, much appreciated. As you suggested, I've just found an old school garage in Bath and the (elderly) mechanic was jumping up and down with glee when I asked if they could assist with Minors as he was fed up with modern plug and play cars. Thanks so much for your assistance, feeling more relieved. :D
