Hi folks,

On our recent trip to a local scrappy PyoorKate and I managed to uncover a nice Hazard switch from a Ford Horsebox. Now,I've also got a nice new 4X21 W flasher unit.

Soooooo....

As Pride is next week (check out our nice fantastic site and Guy's coding at http://www.aprideofminors.co.uk ) and I'd like to try and fit the hazard flashing doobries this weekend.

Has anyone done it before with dual flashers (keeping the original MOWOG/LUCAS one for the indicators and wiring up a secondary hazard flasher in paralell with the original wiring) or am I best to replace the original flasher with the 4X21 and then put the hazard switch on that way?

Suggestions please?! :)

Nikki

i have done this onn my van with an original lucas hazard switch.
of course wires and colours may vary.
mine work with the ignition off as well.

you can keep the ordinary 3 way flasher unit under the bonnet.
as far as i can remember

you couple up the 2 green wires from the indicator switch to a purple wire on the hazard switch ( well that is the colour on mine ) the other wires from the hazard switch connect to the other wires on the indicator switch and a live from the hazard switch to the fuse box.

i will check again tommorrow and give all the colours to where they should go.
