Okay, it’s not a minor.

Wondering what happened to this unusual vehicle. It was a wheelchair accessible Austin Mini.
Originally a van, it has a glass fibre roof with three doors at the rear - the two normal van doors and a third up and over. The top windscreen was a regular mini sallon rear screen.
The rear subframe was modified and the number plate panel hinged down to become a ramp.

Bought in Newburn about 1995. I had plans to remove the roof and weld in a regular van roof. Never happened because it could carry two adult bicycles and a child’s bike - which it was great at.

It was clattery as hell to drive and there was always a lot of body shimmer and rough roads would pop open one of the rear doors.

Sold it in 1999 to a man in Throckley and I think I heard it eventually ended up in Manchester...

Been untaxed since 2009, but it might be getting restored somewhere as a new V5C was issued in 2017....

Scratting through paperwork found these and paperwork, MOTs and tax discs 1974 to 1999. If anyone knows current whereabouts I’d happily forward on to new owner.

Might be worth checking out project pages/asking around on some classic caravan/campervan sites as that looks just the sort of vehicle to be turned into a micro camper.

I wonder why the top front window wiper was made in reverse to the main cars' windscreen wipers.
