Are vitron tipped float valves better than original brass tipped ones?

I believe the originals had a brass body and a steel tip. Steel is prone to corrosion if there is any water in the fuel which is a concern with fuels containing ethanol. Viton is more durable and should make a more reliable and durable seal.

I am thinking of the plastic body/brass tip type.
How about the ball valve ones? Is there any advantage to using one of those?

Thanks Phil, now ordered.
There seem to be two schools of thought regarding E10, those that say there will be trouble ahead and those that say do nothing and don't worry about it unless something actually goes wrong.
I have come to the conclusion that prevention (as best you can) would be preferable (and possibly cheaper / less inconvenient in the long run) to cure.......
