Does anyone know somewhere in Easter Ross/Inverness area that could restore my Morris Minor 1000 Saloon?

The restorer who did my father's traveller looks to have retired a few years back, Hugh Finney who was in Beauly.
The only one I know of is Ogilvy classic cars in Grantown on Spey but i have no experience of them.
It might be worth asking Highland Classic Car Club for advice?

Dave Spence at Caledonian Classic & Historic Motorsport Club is in Inverness, I'm sure he's the same person who used to work with my father and helped move the Traveller when it was immobile (1979!) He's had Minor parts for sale for ages on that club website so he might know of someone local although I'm sure his interest is more Ford's.

Thanks for your reply.

I have contacted Highland Classic Car Club and they suggested the Barnyards Bodyshop in Beauly which, I think, is still run by Hugh Finney's son and they have a few Moggies in just now.

I'll have a look at the other website too.

Thanks for being so helpful.

That sounds right, I remember Hugh saying his son was doing up Escorts and Capris. That was about 20 yes ago.
