Have got new bearings for my gearbox which is in bits at the moment. Would I be right in saying the plunger in the photo is the correct part to fit in the hole in the second speed synchro? It's about 14 mm long. If it's not the right one maybe someone can send a photo of the correct part.

Uploading Photos seem to be working OK at the moment (it don't always) but possibly your images are too large, especially if you've just snapped it with your phone at the standard settings.
I always resize my uploads to around 1Mb or under and there's not usually any problem. Phones are often saving at 3 or 4 Mb.

That might be a file format issue then, wrong type of JPEG or something silly like that. Can you save them to a laptop/PC and try an upload from there (if you haven't already tried that).
I've had that message in the past, but that's been when it's playing up for everyone but I just tried a couple of images, via my PC and they loaded without issue, even as big as 3Mb.

I can't believe I actually got the photo thing to work, now you can see what I'm on about. Anyone know if this is the right part?

That’s what the part looks like, so if it drops in and doesn’t protrude, I’d say yes.

Thanks Les, I just didn't want to put it all back together and then find I'd put the wrong part in.
