Was going to go to the 'Normous Newark Auto Jumble this morning.
Gave up after being 15 minutes getting to the roundabout at the top of the slip-road, from A1 Northbound, which is still over a mile from the Newark show-ground...
Having got home I checked the map.

it's still Chaos.... apparently been like it since around 7am, depending which bit of the gridlock you click on....

Lots of people trying to get to the first show in over a year....

We live about 20 minutes from the showground and every show/bank holiday/event causes delays

I'm also only 15-20 mins away, I'm used to seeing it for the big shows, or even regular Rush Hour times, but not seen it like that for an Auto Jumble on a Sunday Morning.
I'd normally go in Basil for the reduced entry price, but they're not doing that at the moment, so luckily I was in the luxury of a modern car.

Ditto here I am twenty minutes from the showground nice day thought I would go in my tr7 turned around and came back home

Hmmm, I can feel a picnic in an A1 lay-by coming up. Bring your own stones

If less people attended these events they would be more popular?
