Torque shaft

On the torque shaft aft end there is is and plate with six holes, I understand the holes adjust the height but why have the six holes and where to start for adjustment.
The holes are for micro adjustment of the ride height (vernier adjustment they call it)
Main adjustment is by moving around the arm on the splines after safely relieving the tension.....its all in the manual......including a suggested initial setting
Do you have uneven ride height?
