Core plugs

Just removed 4 core plugs from Morris Ital engine block. I thought there were 5, but can’t find the fifth !

Hi,
I beleive 'philthehill' has covered A+ Ital engines before, so he should be able to give you the definitive answer.

There are only four core plugs in a 1275cc Marina/Ital block.
Two in the rear of the block and two in the oil filter side of the block.
The MG Midget/Sprite 1275cc block has five core plugs.
Two in the rear of the block and three in the oil filter side of the block.

Thank you, I see the fifth would have been where the filter bossing is on the Marina/ Ital.

Plugs in place now but I didn’t leave sealant five minutes before assembly as instructed, oh dear! Fingers crossed.

Cam bearings, I’ve done this once but wasn’t happy with quality, so this is the next step,
