Hi, I'm about to take the glass out of the back doors on my traveller so I can sand and oil them, what sealent should I use to put the glass back in after, I'm wondering if the stuff sold to seal the alloy panels to the wood would be ok or if I should get some proper window putty from a DIY shop.

I used the same stuff on mine for the panels and glass - which was a caulking strip made (I think?) by 3M. It worked fine. I used plenty and trimmed off any excess afterwards. It was clearly a similar material to that used when the car was first built.
