I've come unstuck on one of the smallest components in a Morris Minor and its driving me crazy
I'm trying to take out the door handle lock assembly on the left hand side door. In order to do that I have to remove the internal lock catch. I've taken out the spring clip but will it budge? will it b***ery!
Any advice gratefully received as I'm about to take an angle grinder to the ruddy thing

It’s been awhile since I removed mine, but if memory serves, just push in this button and the lock lever should come out. Red arrow points to button.

Look at the lock body where the locking handlke goes in. You'll see a slot. Inside the slot is a pin at right angles to the part you're trying to remove. Use a drift to push it in and then withdraw the lever. You do not need a lot of force, the pin is spring loaded.

Oooooh! Thank you all you've saved me a lot of frustration and teeth grinding.
