A few questions here!

Would MGB wheels fit a minor?

What's the PCD of the MGB? - Minor is 4x4"

Would the offset be different? What is minor?

What the stud thread on MGB? - Minor is 3/8"

Just located a set of MGB mags a fellow took off his car to put the car back onto steels.

They don't fit. Midget ones do but B ones don't.

Thanks for the offer Terry, but mine are not too bad. If I'm planning to be around London at any point in the not-too-distant then I'll give you a shout! Thanks. :D

so these 'midget wheels' that will fit the Minor PCD - what sizes are they available in?

I'm in need of some steels that'll take 165 up to 185.
Any suggestions for what makes a good (CHEAP) donor wheel?
13" will do if nothing better comes along that's cheap enough - I'm hoping for 6 to 8 of them!

The later Midget Rostyle wheels will comfortably take a 165 tyre as 165/70 is a popular upgrade for Midgets, 185 might be pushing it though. And as far as I know all Midgets had 13" wheels so it's going to lower your gearing a bit.

My 1500 Midget had 165s on (I think) and they looked a bit podgey on those rims. Not sure exactly what size they were though, just 13" diameter..........

Are Minor rims out of the question?

Any spridget wheel has the correct PCD, the rostyles will take up to a 165 profile tyre, I think the earlier steels are the same, but don't get wires (DUH!) because they are the same width as the minor rim and are held on by splines and spinners... unfortuantely they are all 13"

I have a set of midget wire wheel converters if you are interested (They bolt onto the 4 studs and give you the round thing with splines) from the MGOC from when i was looking to put wires on my mog. i never got round to it then i smashed up the car so it never happened

I was just saying that if anybody wanted to put wire wheels on their car then I have the adapters to let them do it.

I'm just looking to put wide steels on (for a few weeks of non-road driving) and was looking for a cheap source.
The LP917 Van rims are a bit to precious but we'll see how things go!
