I received today a new battery charger, almost an essential item in these temperatures with a standing car. I have no allegiance or association with the manufacturer, but they do make them here and it is very good quality.
Worth a look in my opinion, though you can get chargers from Halfords for a lot less, they are generally made in Taiwan.
Ignore the grey plug, they come with crocodile clips that are industrial, but more importantly I was impressed that they are insulated, LED s tell you the battery state, there is no on off switch, you use the wall socket for that, they come with wall mounting feet and rubber stand alone feet too, also importantly a heat sink is built in as well, The manufacturer/supplier is exegon.

Might be good but why can't they give a price off the site instead of requesting a quote?
Puts folk off.

I also use an Accumate. The battery is now some twelve years old and alternates between the Morris and mower , As the Accumate is also a conditioner it is permanently connected to the battery when not on the mower or car .

I agree.
My opinion is if you're not willing to publicise your prices, you're probably too expensive. Nobody hides 'attractive prices'.
Also, it's a silly sales procedure when the majority of people want their online shopping to be quick and easy; not wait for a quote to come back after an indeterminate time.
There are a couple of companies I found selling exegon chargers, e.g.

but not the type moggiethouable illustrated, only their more industrial options.

I have 3 cars tucked up in the garage , all with battery conditioners , go to ebay look at the reviews they all do a great job by trickle charging and keeping the battery in tiptop condition . prices from £20 to £50 take your pick .

Forgive me I should have said, I did say you will pay more for quality, we always do, £90.00 inc vat.Expensive to some, priceless to someone else.
Prior to this I had a Gunnerson plastic bodied type, it was ok, but it clearly was built to a price, not a standard.
As a radio amateur I also want electronics that don't give off RF interference.
So standards of build are important to me.
I also like the fact its built here, employing Brits, like making Minors used to
