Hi all, does anybody know please the thread size/ type of the bolt that goes into hole near the A pillar to hold the parcel shelf in place. The internal thread near the A pillar on both sides needs a good clean out with a tap and I want to make sure its the right one. Is it the same size thread as the gearbox cover bolts?

It is indeed the same thread as the screws holding the gearbox cover down - 3/16 BSF.
As a general rule, all the threads associated with the body are BSF and those associated with the mechanical parts (engine, gearbox and axle) are UNF. It is well worth getting hold of some BSF taps.

On second thoughts, I agree and think you are correct. They will be 1/4".

hi is it possible to tell me what code screws i need for these parts rectanges first and then the lenght from inside the car.Also the code for the rear door hinge screws please
