I have recently fitted an unleaded head to my 1098cc. Can anyone tell me the optimum timing using standard unleaded? Thank so much.

There is no standard timing for unleaded Minor engines.
Start with the standard workshop static setting and adjust (advance or retard) as necessary after/during road testing.
No two engines are the same so each engine will require its own timing setting.

I wondered if it might be a bit of trial and error. Thanks for the helpful response
