Can someone please advise if the flywheel on my 1098cc should be shiny ( where the clutch contact is ) as in picture please. ?
Many Thanks

The shiny face of the flywheel face is normal. The shine is caused by the flywheel spinning against the stationary driven/centre plate when the clutch pedal is depressed.
Even if you roughed up the flywheel face it will revert to shiny in a very short time.
Fit and enjoy.

I noticed that and guessed he was in the midst of removing the flywheel when he took the photo.... but then you never know...

Could do with some new flywheel bolt locking tabs.
Locking tabs are best used once.
