What do you make of this?

Found in my local Garden centre
It appears to be a genuine pick up judging by the seperate chassis and cab rear but has obviously been modified slightly.

I have made enquiries to ascertain if it is for sale but up to now I have not had much luck, I may try again this afternoon.

I like the idea of having cycle wings/mudguards on the front - suits it quite well! :)

Reminds me of a 2CV.
Where is your local garden centre located so as to enable the viewing of the Minor?

Well the manager of the garden centre says the pick up is for sale.
So I'm very tempted to buy it and get it back on the road looking like a pick up again.
I'm going back tomorrow to examine the chassis and what remains of the cab.
How much to offer is another thing.
Pick ups command big money but at the moment this one looks more like a chassis and what remains of the cab.
I will see how the chassis is and take it from there, I should imagine somewhere around £300-£500 mark depending on condition dropping to nothing if the chassis is rotten.
I know I can get a new chassis for four figures but then it becomes an expensive project.

No he's not, I spotted it on BBC Breakfast this morning. They were doing a report from that Garden Centre and it was in the background.

Quick Edit to say, I had to wait until gone midday for it to appear on iPlayer....

So how did they 'expect' for it / think it was worth then?
Best wishes,
Mike.
