Bangers and Cash 210,000 miles

Ok it was an original Mini but I could not believe it. 210,000 miles on the original engine and still its original clutch
I didnt think an A series engine could do that amount of miles without a rebuild let alone the clutch.

A rarity but shows what can be achieved with a caring owner. Must've had an oil change every thousand miles.

Before I got my Morris 1000 van nine years ago I had an A35 van which had done 369000 miles on the original clutch and engine and had been in our family from when it was six months old and was always serviced. The same auctioneers sold it this year. If you google it you can see pictures of it the reg was SMK639F.
