Noisy exhaust

Just had a new mild steel exhaust from ESM fitted to my Traveller. At low revs it sounds ok with the classic Moggy sound on the over-run. However, get to 50mph and it becomes noisy. Lift off at that speed and it sounds almost like a bang. At 60mph it is very noisy indeed. The exhaust isn't blowing and I'm sure its been properly fitted. ESM say they haven't had any problems like this before. Has any one here? I went for mild steel to preserve the classic Moggy sound, but this is much louder than my old mild steel exhaust.

It might be worth looking to check it's not touching the body or axle or close enough to touch when the engine moves under load, also check the hangers are not going tight as the exhaust heats up and expands (they should be vertical or sloping slightly forward when it's cold).

New exhaust tend to be a bit "boomy" until they get a bit of soot in there.
