Hi All,
Don’t know if this is of interest but bought this off eBay as a project sold as good condition pickup. Anyway no good looking back so got me a traveller cab and also very luckily a new chassis.
I have plenty of time, hopefully, and lots of enthusiasm to turn this into a well restored but not pure Morris pick up.
Posted pictures of progress thus far , l am from a building back ground but have a mechanical bro which is very useful so please constructive criticism only.

Be aware that the large hole in the bulkhead is not standard. It was probably cut to fit a pedal box from a Marina. That is not a problem, it's a tried and tested mod that gives you the chance to fit a dual circuit servo braking system and an hydraulic clutch; but if you're new to Minors, then yo might not have realised it. You can weld a new section in if you want to restore to original fittings; entirely your choice.

Going to make a panel to fit the hole unless I can find a bulkhead and cut this section out , l can’t believe someone would do this l have tidied up the hole which l think the previous owner chewed out !
If anyone has a scrap bulkhead would appreciate this section as it would be difficult to achieve the original foldings.

When you make the panel, there is a large hole to make, for the fresh air hose.

If the previous owner wanted pendent brake and clutch pedals with a built in servo and hydraulic clutch then they would cut the the hole in the bulkhead. As I have said before not unusual and a recognised and frequently carried out modification to Morris Minors.
Before you weld up the hole consider if you want a better brake master cylinder location and a better master cylinder to boot. If you weld it up you may at a later date wish you had not and used the Marina brake/clutch pedal box assy.

Ok Phil l will do abit of research but still feel l can do a more professional cut out as it will still be visible

I agree with you that the cut out as found was terrible and the hole can be made better if required.

Will post photos next week, l have replaced the traveller floor which was rotten beyond repair 4 layers in places , l have put in a pick up floor which is flat and now sits on the chassis flat and level , unlike the traveller floor which slopes.
Obviously the floor finishes short at the rear but l intend making a panel to extend the rear pick up cab down and to meet the new floor into which l can incorporate some strengthening the awkward bit being the corners.
Works well having the chasis sat on a flat table so l can line up the front rebuild.
Makes for a great work height.
As always constructive criticism gratefully received its all a learning curve.
