I have new trim panels to fit in the rear quarters of my 1969 2 door saloon, but I'm not sure where the fixings should be. The parts book says 10 screws and screw caps in total, so presumably 5 per side but the old panels and side of the car have a greater number of holes than that. If anyone can give me details of where the screws should be, or a photo if possible, that would be helpful.

I did wonder about the possibility of using some sort of hidden fixings rather than putting holes in the nice new trim panels, velcro maybe? Has anyone tried that and if so was it successful?

5 sounds about right, 3 along the top and 2 on front edge.
Basically one in each corner and one mid way on top and front sides.
Mind you, Basil's furnishings are a bit dubious. Such as the bespoke stitching design and the brass screws.
