hi all,

hope you're doing well!

the good news is, the basket case moggy i've been working on for a few months had its first trip out yesterday and all running well. so well when i used the brakes i almost went through the windscreen (has a brake servo and never driven a moggie with one!)

anyway, i'm looking to get new carpets to install, but have noticed theres a few types available (newton and bull from ESM and charlie ware own brand as far as i can tell). does anyone have experience of which ones are the best?

My feelings are they are much of a muchness when considering the pile.
I think from fitting mine that one key point is to fit underlay of some sort for a little noise damping and also to give a plusher feeling under the feet.
One area of concern to me was when I came to fit the centre consul carpet, it lacked trim at the rear, where it meets the rear carpet.
The rear carpet also was the same, so I would ask if all the carpet pieces are trimmed.
You will pay more for this I think, but its probably worth it.
